Chris Nichols is a 14-year real estate veteran, starting his career as a successful agent. Later he moved into brokerage management of a $13.5million GCI company with 150 agents. During that time Chris was named to both the Inman 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders and the Swanepoel Power 200. He was a certified mentor for the Brian Buffini Company, coaching many agents to success. In 2015 Chris was named to the RPAC Hall of Fame by the National Association of REALTORS (NAR).
Throughout his career Chris has served in various capacities of leadership with the National, State and Local Association of REALTORS. At NAR Chris has chaired a Presidential Advisory Group on Virtual Associations and the Social Media Advisory Board. In addition, he currently serves as NAR’s Federal Political Coordinator assigned to Senator Mike Lee of Utah. He has served on various committees over the years at NAR and in 2010 graduated from NAR’s Leadership Academy. In 2016 Chris served as the State President of the Utah Association of REALTORS, representing their 15,000 members at NAR.
When Inman News launched their ambassador program for their Inman Connect conferences, Chris was one of their inaugural ambassadors and participated in that program for several years. He has been a social media contributor to Inman News, NAR and several other real estate related news sources. He was a co-author for the Swanepoel Technology Report and assisted in the launch and promotion of Stefan Swanepoel’s “Surviving Your Serengeti” business book.
In early 2015 Chris joined Realogy Franchise Group as a Franchise Sales Director for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. He quickly found success and was named the “Newcomer of the Year”. In late 2016 he was promoted to Managing Regional Vice President for the Western US, overseeing franchise development and growth in that region.
Chris is married to Marci and they have 3 children and one rambunctious German Shorthaired Pointer. When not working, you will find him traveling with his family or fly fishing nearby rivers with his wife.
